About Global Educational Pathways
A family-run consultancy, founded on one woman's journey from village veterinarian to QEAC-certified education counsellor.
Long before Australia, our founder Sabina Yasmin was the head animal doctor in Kushtia — trusted by farmers across the district to diagnose and treat livestock others had given up on. Her husband worked alongside her in agriculture, and his own expertise became local legend: he could identify a tree's species from a single leaf, without ever having seen that tree before. Between the two of them, their working life was built entirely on the kind of hands-on expertise that takes years to earn and can't be faked.
When Sabina and her husband moved to Australia, she arrived not as a professional but as a housewife, starting from zero in a new country. Rebuilding a career from that position takes a particular kind of determination — and she did it by studying, requalifying, and working her way back into academia, eventually becoming a professor at Sydney Imperial Institute.
Having gone through the international student and migrant experience herself, Sabina understands exactly what Bangladeshi students and families are up against — the paperwork, the uncertainty, the distance from home. She chose to formalise that understanding by self-funding her own certification as a Qualified Education Agent Counsellor (QEAC) through ICEF Academy's Education Agent Training Course, so that her advice would be backed by a recognised professional standard, not just personal experience.
Why Global Educational Pathways Exists
Global Educational Pathways grew out of that journey. It isn't a faceless call centre — it's Sabina's own expertise, backed by a small team of family who each bring something different: local support for students and families back home, and an on-the-ground presence in Sydney for students after they arrive. The goal across all of it is simple: help as many students as possible reach Australian universities and colleges that are genuinely right for them.

Study Abroad Checklist
- Free Assessment: Get your academic, financial, and language profile assessed before you commit to a plan.
- University Shortlist: Decide your preferred field of study and shortlist Australian universities/colleges that fit.
- Document Collection: Gather transcripts, certificates, financial records, and identification.
- English Proficiency: Prepare for and sit IELTS, PTE, or another accepted English test.
- Application Deadlines: Apply at least 6 months ahead of your target intake — earlier for specialised courses.
- University Application: Submit a complete, accurate application with all supporting documents.
- Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE): Secure your CoE once accepted, ready to support your visa application.
- Visa Application: Lodge your student visa application with financial and GTE documentation in order.
- Pre-Departure Preparation: Arrange travel, accommodation, and health cover ahead of arrival.
- Arrival in Australia: Land with a plan — and, where needed, in-person support already in place.
